Our "Monday Morning Ed-U-Upper" is very widely
read.
It's free, and goes all over the world every Monday
morning. You will find it short, filled with humor, great quotes, often
great motivational pieces, fresh ideas, and bits of this and that. The
goal: Entertain!
It's easy to get on, and
easy to get off this list.

The Three Bears...
[A far more accurate account of the events of that fateful morning.]
Baby bear goes downstairs, sits in his small chair at the table. He looks into his small bowl. It is empty. "Who's been eating my Porridge?" he squeaks.
Daddy Bear arrives at the big table and sits in his big chair. He looks into his big bowl and it is also empty. "Who's been eating my porridge?" he roars.
Mummy Bear puts her head through the door from the kitchen and yells, "For goodness sake, how many times do I have to go through this with you two?
"It was Mummy Bear who got up first. It was Mummy Bear who woke everyone in the house. It was Mummy Bear who made the coffee. It was Mummy Bear who unloaded the dishwasher from last night and put everything away. It was Mummy Bear who swept the floor in the kitchen. It was Mummy Bear who went out to fetch the newspaper. And it was Mummy Bear who set the table. It was Mummy Bear who walked the dog. It was Mummy Bear who cleaned out the cat's litter box. It was Mummy Bear who fed the dog and cat, and refilled their water."
"And, now...now you've decided to drag yourselves downstairs and grace Mummy Bear with your grumpy presence..."
"Listen carefully, because I'm only going to say this once:"
"I HAVEN'T MADE THE PORRIDGE YET!!!"
"Get a grip... And... BE PATIENT!"

Turn the Page for Play Therapy Activities...
...by Michele Page & Joy Wilson (2008, MarCo Products, 29.95) [Check/Credit Card Price...Less 21% = 23.66]
A compilation of activities on various topics that give children the opportunity, among other things, to better communicate, build self-esteem, and reduce stress. The included CD allows for easy reproduction of all reproducibles in black and white (as well as in color, where appropriate). These fun-to-present activities will encourage your students to communicate more freely and give you insight into their thoughts and behaviors. Grades 2-5. [8.5” x 11”...144 pages]
The photos below capture a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect wildlife in the USA. Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of laziness. They have apparently learned to just sit and wait for someone to provide for their care and sustenance.
